Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise AI services company co-founded by former Infosys chief executive Vishal Sikka, has closed a second seed round worth $53 million, the company announced on September 16, 2026. The financing was led by Xora, a fund backed by Temasek, and lifts the startup's total funding to $85 million — an unusually large cumulative figure for a company still operating at the seed stage.
Xora's lead was supported by a mix of returning and new backers. Mayfield, the venture firm that led Hang Ten Systems' first seed round, participated again in the follow-on financing, while Aramco Ventures also joined the round, according to the announcement. Beyond institutional investors, the company's roster of backers includes high-profile technology figures: Intel chief executive Lip-Bu Tan and memory manufacturer Micron are both named among the company's investors.
Sikka's involvement anchors the company's positioning. A former chief executive of Infosys, he co-founded Hang Ten Systems to deliver AI services to enterprises — a market positioned downstream of the ongoing chip and data center build-out, where demand signals from large organizations are closely watched by hardware vendors and investors alike.
The structure of the deal stands out: two seed rounds totaling $85 million is well above typical seed-stage funding, and the participation of investors tied to Temasek and Aramco alongside figures from the semiconductor industry — including the head of Intel and memory supplier Micron — points to broad strategic interest in the enterprise AI services opportunity.
