Logitech's long-awaited Yeti 2 sequel brings 3D voice tracking, AI denoising, real-time auto-gain and a color mascot screen to the legendary Blue Yeti microphone at $160.
Logitech has unveiled the Yeti 2, the first major successor to its legendary Blue Yeti microphone after years without a significant update. Priced at $160, the sequel arrives with a feature set designed to simplify both microphone setup and ongoing audio adjustments — the core goal Logitech set for the refresh.
The headline additions center on automation. The Yeti 2 introduces 3D voice tracking, a capability oriented around capturing the speaker's voice, alongside real-time auto-gain, which manages input levels on the fly rather than leaving users to adjust gain manually. Logitech has also built AI denoising into the microphone, applying artificial intelligence to strip unwanted noise from the signal.
The company is adding a visual flourish as well: a color screen featuring a mascot, giving the long-running product line a new face to complement its automated audio functions. The original Blue Yeti built its standing as a legendary microphone, and Logitech allowed years to pass before committing to a major successor.
The refresh reads as an effort to carry a well-established name into a market where automated and AI-assisted audio functions are increasingly standard. By bundling 3D voice tracking, AI denoising and real-time auto-gain into a single $160 device, Logitech is framing the Yeti 2 as a way to cut the setup burden that has traditionally accompanied microphone configuration. Reviving the Blue Yeti line after so long without a successor also underscores how much value the company sees in the brand itself, betting that familiar naming combined with modern AI features will resonate where manual gain staging and noise handling once fell to the user.
